We have quite a versatile set up here at the Ecology Retreat Centre. Below is a short description of our available facilities. We will be updating this area with more pictures soon so that you can better see the great amenities we offer you.




Dining Hall

A separate building, it is carpeted and has a vestibule,
3 bathrooms and a fully staffed kitchen. It is 28' x 42' in size.



The Main Meeting Hall

A separate building nestled amongst the trees and against the hillside of the ERC. Suitable for larger groups, it is within easy walking distance from the accommodation buildings. It's open, carpeted 30' x 40' meeting space is suitable for 80 to 120 people and has 2 washrooms. The attached kitchennette can be used for preparing and serving snacks and beverages.



The Kiva Room

A carpeted meeting place with a beautiful stone fireplace. Set in a cozy windowed basement, this is a wonderfully private sanctuary for small meetings, intimate group workshops, or for watching a movie. The Kiva Room is 20' x 30' in size, and is suitable for 30~40 people.

and a large organic garden and orchard. A network of hiking trails wind through the property, feeding into the Bruce Trail.

Facilitation aids such as a PowerPoint™ projector, CD player, DVD player, overhead projector, screen, flip chart stand, lectern, and slide projector are all available.

New for 2008 we now have high-speed internet and WiFi!


We have three comfortable buildings nestled in amongst the woods and surrounded by picturesque hills. All are within easy walking distance of both the main Meeting Hall, the Dining Hall, and beautiful hiking trails.


The Lodge

The Lodge has 15 individually heated bedrooms with 3 beds in each (one double bed and two singles). Spacious shared washrooms (separate male and female) with 8 showers and 12 sinks. It's bright central lounge can be used for socializing or as another meeting space.



The Bunkhouse

This is a separate building from the Lodge with it's own male and female washrooms and is only a few meters from the Lodge showers. It can sleep 25 people in 5 rooms with 4 beds in each.



The Leader's Cabin

The Leader's Cabin has it's own 4 piece washroom and a kitchenette, and is a quick walk to the Lodge and the Meeting hall.
2 bedrooms sleep up to 5 people, and perhaps one more on the futon in the sitting room. It is the perfect place to relax undisturbed or have a few people over for a more intimate setting.
